A/C slow getting cold.
Hello Everyone,
I'm having an issue with my A/C on my 2002 Bonneville SE. On extremely hot days, my ac doesn't seem to blow cold air unless its been on for quite some time, usually 15-20 min. When its over 100 degrees out, this can be quite annoying. Especially since by the time the ac actually gets cold enough to be comfortable, I'm already home.
The compressor is fairly new. It was changed about two summers ago. I've also checked the pressure in the system, and it shows its fully charge. Although the gauge I used was from one of those DIY recharge kits I had from years ago.
I've also noticed, the AC gets colder faster if I drive faster. And the blower motor is really loud, but still blows plenty of air.
Any ideas on what might be keeping it from getting cold that long?
