Anyways, it WAS a caliper problem - the anchor bolt was MISSING! It was the exact situation that Littlehoov had. His left deep scars in the rim, but unfortunately it PIERCED my rim. I took the car to Midas today, they said the dealership wanted $890 for a new rim, which is ridiculous. Anyone have any rims for sale that live in OHIO? I'll drive to you. The fix was $15, but the consequences are $900, luck.
Check recycling yards. They may even be able to mount and balance your tire on the new rim. Call around.

Ed Morad should be able to get you any rim you want for far less than that.

What rims do you have?
I have a full set of 17" five spokes, the ones that have a wide spoke with a triangular bit at the end. Umm.... I'll try and find a pic some where. But anyway, if you have those rims, I may be willing to let go of one really cheap. I only have them to put drag radials on, so I only need two.
EDIT: here'* the style of rims I have in the garage. PM me if they're the right ones.

Nope, they're a different style. Thanks alot tho!

I ended up finding one in Michigan for $125 that was refurbished with a gaurantee and he even mounted and balanced the tire for me. GREAT guy, its a mid size rim shop outside of Detroit. Took 2 hours to drive there, but well worth saving nearly $800!!

PM me if anyone wants to know the name of the rim shop, they're excellent!

P.*. STILL have not figured out my tach, speedo, cruise, turn signal issue..lol. Driving me NUTS!

You got a great price. Just keep Ed Morad in mind, especially if you have to replace your cluster in your other topic.

He specializes in Bonneville Salvage.

Excellent, thanks alot for the tip Will. I just may have to do that, if it ends up being the cluster itself.
