The oil psi gauge on a 2005 SLE... Some help?
Like I have said I love my 2005 SLE to death but is my oil psi gauge working or on the fritz? It goes up when I hit the acclerator and goes down when I back off or brake... Is that suppose to happen? It goes up a little and down a little. (still most of the time sits in the middle tho) Is this normal? Or is the gauge bad?

For the Buick engine this is normal... Might have something to do with this oil pump being a gyrator(spelling ) style.... At idle Oil pressure is noramlly 25-35 PSI for most( Hot idle ), at roadspeed say 1800-2000 Rpms or so 55-60psi would be a good number... And it does flucuate with engine speed...
