Default question about the 3.8 hp. rating.

I see that the GP'* 3.8 is rated at 200 hp. Where is the extra 5 hp coming from on the Bonnie? Intake?

Exhaust.

The W-bodies have a u-bend in the exhaust which is quite a restriction.

Thanks. Now what about the fact that the SLE have the 'dual' exhaust as apposed to the single pipe. Any difference there?

It'* not really a dual exhaust, just dual outlets. Doesn't really affect power too much. The exhausts on most 3800 powered cars are pretty unrestrictive.

The second muffler is for looks and sounds... And yes the W-Body exhaust has one big bend. The G-Body is more flow through! I like having the highest rated N/A 3800 ever made... Now what about the Lucrene it has a 3800 and is a G-Body but only rated at 200hp is that because its a Series III? Or what?
