Possible blown head gasket
Ok so a few weeks ago I noticed that after my engine got hot i could smell oil. so naturally i assumed i had a leak somewhere. Well after careful searching i found the leak. Its on top of the engine block just behind the top of the head cover. Its kind of pooling in this little dip thats there. based on where it is im assumin that the gasket is leaking. I've already bpurchased a new gasket for both the front and rear head, I just need to know if its a simple swap or if i'll need to apply any apoxy or adhesive to the gaskets as well. Let me know. thanks guys.

As far as gaskets go, No you don't need to apply adhesive to any of the gaskets. this is assuming you are replacing the head gaskets like the title says.
If you are going to take the lower intake off than you would need to put some silicone sealer and the ends of the intake gasket where they meet the valley gaskets. This should be provided if you bought a gasket set.

When you say "head cover", do you mean valve cover? Valve cover gaskets are cheap and easy. A blown head gasket is big bucks, and I doubt you'd want to tackle them. I agree with 2001SCBONNE. No sealant required.

No... the replacement gasket would be a rubber/silicone gasket that would fit in a groove going around the inside of valve cover, no adhesive needed, fits in the slot.

You found coolant pooling on the top of the lower intake manifold? If so, it'* time for LIM gaskets. As mentioned you'd use a little RTV in the corners and some sealant (pipe sealant is best) on the LIM bolts to keep the coolant from seeping up through them again.

Not coolant bill, it was oil. Its pooling there inbetween along the top of the valve cover and the base of the supercharger. If someone can give a little direction on posting pics i can put a few up for u guys.

Touch it to make sure it'* not coolant with a layer of oil on top. If it'* coolant, you need a new LIM gasket. If it'* oil, you need a new valve cover gasket.
