New water leak
Hey everyone-
As posted earlier, I had a water leak in my trunk of my 2000 Bonneville. It was fixed last Friday as they had to replace some gasket. They said these gaskets "spontaneously disintegrate," in these Bonnevilles....anyways, $115 later, my trunk was fixed.
Mysteriously, after leaving the dealership, I noticed my front passenger-side floor board was saturated with water. I had never had a leak there before. Initially, I thought maybe they spilled something inside it while working on it. However, it rained on Saturday and Sunday and the floorboard filled with water. Again, I had no trouble with this prior to taking it to the dealer.
What do you think my approach should be with this. Part of me thinks that while they were searching for leaks, they created another. I'm growing pretty frustrated with the whole leak situation.

uirx,
On that trunk leak, did they mention specifically which gasket was replaced? There are several gaskets, seams on the trunk & deck lid that may be suspect in some of the new Bonnevilles, there was a TSB to resolve those (see my other posts). I just went through that drill with my trunk leak. That front passenger door leak is strange, probably not related to trunk work. It may be that deflector internal to door.
