INTENSES cam install!!!!!!!! Part 2 {lots of pics}
First off, I would like to give a big THANKS to Adam and Greg from wicgp. These guys were so full of knowledge and did a great job on the install.If anyone around the Milwaukee area needs an install, I would highly recommend these guy, first priority.They can be reached at www.wicgp.com. My car went in right after Bob86 2000 SSEi came out. They pulled out his Thrasher cam and installed a stage 1x also.(his car is pretty awesome) Well now with the install.
I arrived at the install place at 7:30. install began at 8:30 a.m. ended around 8:30 p.m.
The install went very smooth. As the motor came apart Adam and Greg said that the internal parts of my motor were very clean. The blower and intake manifold were clean and in great shape. For some lucky reason they noticed the tolerances on my car were alot tighter compared to other installs. There was NO play in any of the parts. One peice that was rather worn and should be replaced with any major install was the timing chain dampner. We compared bobs to mine. Bobs had 20,000 miles and mine had 60,000. mine was alot more worn that his so replacing this would be a very wise idea. At the end make sure all things are pluged in correctly. The only mishap was the number 6 injector wasn't pluged in all the way setting the SES light. Just plugged that in and she started like a charm on the first try. Honestly I can say that i Don't have much to say. Everything went soooooo well. Whatever questions you may have plese reply. I have learned so much from this and hope others will pursue furhter modding in their cars

Wow thanks for all the great pics
How is the performance of that cam? Was it worth the 12 hour install time? What was the total cost of parts and install?

Looks like that SSEi is probably pretty quick! How do you like the cam? Should be a pretty good running car now.
I hope you enjoy the power! If not, you can always do more mods and get more power.

The power is VERY enjoyable. And yes I will be getting more power this fall probably. The future list for this fall is :
Intercooler
ported & polished blower
3.29 gears
LSD
?LS1 throttle body
?injectors
I am sure this list will change but one can dream can't he!!
