Indicator Error Messages...Need Help!!!
My '01 SSEi is starting to have some small issues here lately. The "service stability" and "service theft system" lights are coming on. I have read several posts about the theft error coming on when it is cold. I am in West Texas and right now at 9 am it is 54 degrees and no wind. I don't think the cold is the culprit. I don't know if the battery is the original or a direct GM brand replacement. I do have the famous steering wheel clicking noise while turning. Obviously and bad intermidiate shaft. Would the problems I have with this have an effect on the steering wheel position sensor and the service stability system error. I have no mods on the car. Completely stock. I am going to order the newly revised intermidiate shaft next week from GM direct. Should I also go ahead and order the steering wheel position sensor also and replace it at the same time?

Will for sure be getting it scanned. Found a friend of a friend at the local Pontiac dealship with a debt to repay. Maybe I can also get him to perform the CASE learn after the new Intense PCM install.
