Default Need to find correct MAF part # for 2000 SSEi

I don't have the car to look at, it'* at the dealer. I thought this was a covered part by my extended warranty, but apparently it'* not. So I'm going to pay for the diagnostic time ($85) and try limping the car home with the MAF umplugged. (I hope that can be done, it'* about 5 miles) Problem is getting a MAF for the car. All my parts searches show 2 different part numbers. Can anyone tell me the correct part number for the MAF for the 2000 SSEi. Time is of the essence here as I need to return my loaner I'm driving ASAP.
Thanks,

This thread covers the MAF part number list for various years. I posted mine in there somewhere.

I have a MAF that I pulled off a 2000 SSEi the other day. I'll check the part number on it when I get home.

Didn't find that MAF thread in my searches. Well, I prolly did, but when I looked for MAF alone, I got over 2000 threads...then I narrowed it to the 2000-2005 posts and got way less. Anywho.....while this narrows down the part, I still cannot find the "part number" they list in the books ....

Rock Auto:
ACDELCO Part # 2134337 {#19179715} SENSOR,MASS AIRFLOW $200.79

ACDELCO Part # 2133428 {#19112543} SENSOR,MASS AIRFLOW(REMAN) $219.29

ACDELCO Part # 2131617 {replaces 213-952 #24508238} SENSOR,MASS AIRFLOW DISCON $220.79

Advance (Parts America):
Don't even list AC parts

In either case, I find no reference to AFH50M-05

So the question is, of the 3 parts listed at Rock Auto, which one is the AFH50M-05?

Thanks,

Was that a working MAF? If so, is it for sale? If so, price plus shipping to 15236? Would save me the hassle of the parts guessing game.....

It should have been working since the car it was on was wrecked rather than old age.

And yes, it will be for sale.

It looks as if they cross-reference AC/Delco part numbers, and even the other numbers listed don't correlate with the OEM part number of 88961007. The Delco site lists two numbers for the MAF also, 213-4337 and 213-952, with 213-3428 being discontinued. Plunk the OEM number, and the AFH50M-05 into their cross-reference didn't find anything.

I braved the rain to check on my car, and the only other number listed is 9Y19, which doesn't help either.

GM part direct shows this for the OEM part number
GM PART # 88961007 *
CATEGORY: Computer Control Sensors
PACK QTY: 1
CORE CHARGE: $60.00
GM LIST: $254.64
OUR PRICE: $132.42
with the asterisk indicating it was replaced by a new part number. Adding to the cart shows part number 19112543: SENS REM, so I guess that'* your answer.

Long way around, but I added info as I continued my search.

Ah, very smart. Please ignore my ignorance as I was reeling from the $450 price to fix and 4 servers that took a dump that needed to be fixed ASAP. When will my boss realize that my car means more than these computers.

Doing a little searching I've located the following from AC-Delco:
http://acdelcotechconnect.com/pdf/07TSS-173.pdf

New OE Mass Air Flow Sensors
ACDelco is pleased to announce the addition of five new Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensors to the Emissions Line (Line 21). ACDelco customers will now have a choice of selling new or remanufactured MAF sensors for several popular GM vehicle applications. The reman option still remains the most economical choice for the consumer, but now ACDelco will give our customers the choice to offer a new part for each of these applications.
Reman MAF New MAF FY - LY Application
GM # ACDelco # GM # ACDelco #
19112543 213-3428 19179715 213-4337 1999 - 2005 GM L36 & L67
19112538 213-3423 19179716 213-4338 1996 - 1998 GM L36 & L67
19112549 213-3434 19179712 213-4339 1988 - 1993 GM LG7 & LN3
19112618 213-3503 19179717 213-4340 1996 - 1999 GM L47
19112534 213-3419 19179713 213-4342 1990 - 1993 GM L27

OK, that table may not display well, but it'* reman MAF numbers (GM and AC), then New MAF (GM and AC) then first and last year used, then application.

So the one above in bold is the correct one. Rock Auto carries both the reman and the new.

I will eventually get this info into the other post as soon as I get a handle on my time here.
