As far as I know you have to go to the dealer. That is what I had to do. I imagine if someone has a repair manual though it might have the process in there. It only cost me $10 so I just went to the dealer to do it.
Never heard of a dealer that even talkes to you for less than $90 much less programing a fob for $10?? don't believe that!
I must have got them on a good day then. They wanted $29.95 to do it but they said it was a slow day so they got it done quick and only charged me $10. They normally charge $60 an hour, $90 is pretty high.
ok, heres what i did, i only got one remote with my car, went online got another 1 for a good deal, well what i did was i took both the orgin. and new one to the dealership and told them that i try to replace the battery in the one and after puttin it in the remote didnt work, then told them i went to get 'my 2nd one' (the new one unporgrammed) to try that and it didnt work. then said "well you deprogrammed it when replacing the battery, not a problem give us 15mins." the reporgram BOTH remotes for free!!! i love cheating those overpricing bastards!! hope that works for ya!!
that is what i did to those bastards!! they still work!
