Default Which Magnaflow parts?

I'm looking at opening up my exhaust. Can someone tell me which Magnaflow stainless mufflers and high-flow cat are replacements for the stock parts? I'm wondering if it would it be best to go 2.5" throughout?

Also, can anyone recommend a good/fair exhaust shop in the Twin City area?

THanks guys!!

If you just take it to a local shop they will point you in the right direction for parts, you dont really need factory replacement since you are doing a custom job anyways.. universal stuff will fit. The mufflers will need to be center in and center out tho

I just replaced my stock mufflers with Magnaflows. I got mufflers with 2.5" inlet/outlet and had the shop make me new 2.5" pipe all the way back with a new 2.5" y pipe also. I got my mufflers off ebay, way cheaper than from a shop. Just got to Magnaflow'* website and find the muffler you want then get them off ebay and have a local shop put them in.

Thanks for the info fellas. I'm thinking of picking up a set of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33636

THere'* also 5x8", would those be better than 4x9" or will it not matter if I go custom 2.5" pipe?

Thanks!

I just went with the standard size but I imagine they would be just fine since you are going to have it all done up custom. Make sure they do new 2.5" from the cat all the way back and make a new y-pipe with 2.5" also. Good luck. Also I got my mufflers from that seller on ebay and they are great to work with.
