Default Installing new exhaust tips

So I got my new exhaust tips today. Dual outlet magnaflows. But I am having a little issue with the lining up of the cutouts and the tips exiting straight. Most of you are familiar with the exhuast set up. Did anyone have to bend and modify the existing exhaust to get the tips to line up right. Should I just take it to a shop and avoid the headache of trying to get it bent myself? Any thoughts from those that have done this.

Jared, I saw your post over at PDX. Don't jump on it just yet. Let'* get some good pics on Saturday and get them posted if you don't get more specific help before then. The exhaust work I'm personally familiar with in the 2k'* was a total replacement (crazy 3" setups).

Here is what I am dealing with. The more I think about it, the more I think I will just let someone else deal with the issue. Maybe some new mufflers too? Might just be easier. Someone know a reliable and affordable place? Here are my new tips

Honestly...I'd run over to a local shop that is reasonable. They'll fit some new piping on your mufflers that centers the outlet and poof...your tips line right up.

Take em to a shop , like Boosty says they have to add a piece of pipe to make them straight.Thats what they did to mine.Mine are not perfectly level either so make sure you are there when they are lining them up.

Well, I got my tips welded on for 100 bones. When I went to pick it up one side was perfect. I loved it. Then I looked over at the other one to see it sticking out about 3" further then the driver'* side. I said who lined that up. So they cut it off and put it back on. They brought it around and again it was still sticking out about an 1" further and it was in the hole crooked and just looked like crap. So they cut it off again and finally they took me out there and had me line it up and take a look before welding the thing back on. Finally it looked good and I am happy with it. I will post pics after I get home tonight.

No, I had my camera phone with me but I didn't pull it out. They treated me very well and after the third time we all just had a good laugh. I wasn't too peeved off since I had a two hour lunch break to kill anyway.

Better photos to come in the morning. And I still need to tweek them a little myself. I think they need to sit higher in the cutout and come in a little more and I need to bend the bracket a little more to accomplish that. What do you guys think? I really like it though. They look like the stick out too far but they really don't. They are even witht he bumper so no black stuff on my white paint.
