E-brake sticking in the cold
What does this mean? I always used my e-brake when I park all my cars. Today it was stuck on the 02. I noticed a POP when I started to move forward. Is it bad to use them in the cold :? I never have had any issue with my other cars.
Does something need cleaned and lubed?

Depending on the pads, I've found that to happen more often with these cars, but mostly in wet weather, where they seem to stick to the rotors more after the brake is released. The sound is annoying, but doesn't do any damage. My friend'* 2000 would do it frequently in wet weather, but hasn't since the pads have been replaced.

The pads are used for the emergency brake also...no little shoes on the inside of the rotor for the emergency brake. This is why the piston has to be turned in for the rear caliper when replacing the pads.
