Default Headlight Housing Removal??

So I have my HID projectors in my new housings on my 03, and I'm ready to take out the original housings. I unscrewed the 2 screws on top, but I can't get the housing out. HELP?!

It'* stuck back towards the inner fender. Comes out fine at the front of the car.

next, the back of the HL is in a ball and socket. if it is cold, it REALLY helps to heat it up. Basicly just pull straight towards the front of the car, working it side to side slightly.

Its kinda like a little ball and socket, pull straight out towards you with some force but not too much, should just kinda pop out of place.

When toasty and I did this at NEBF, the use of a heat gun pointed towards the ball and socket (HL shifted outwards as far as possible) made a world of difference.

its also a good idea to put a scrap piece of cardboard under neath the headlight so that you dont scratch up the bumper cover so bad..

the heat gun helps to soften up the plastic part of the socket so it comes apart easier, and also helps prevent breakage.

Another tip: place a dap of grease on the ball end before re-installing them so they will come out easier in the future
