Did you consult your owners manual? My 02 manual has a pretty detailed description on headlamp adjustments.

Yeah I did, it has not info. i looked at the headlight and it has and H for horizontal bout no adjustment screw. it looks sealed. tried to pop off the cover for it and it wont come off. The manual dont even have a replacement # for the foglight either, I had to call the dealer to get the number. I had to take off the wheel and the front part of the fender well just to replace the foglight. I just couldnt believe that. but anyways the dealer didnt even know how to adjust the headlight....

I had this same problem not too long ago. A search here should bring it up, but I'll try to find it again.

Only thing I did was use a pair of pliers to turn the white cap looking thing. If you look at it from the side (not straight down), it looks like a ratchet, so there must be a special tool that'* used.

thats wierd, my 2000 has 2 torque nuts on either side of the headlight, one is for verical and the other is for horizontal. also i just had my front bumper repainted last year and the fog lights just unhooked from the bottom, they were the first thing i removed and the last thing i reinstaled.

Well I did what jeff said to do, and i started turning that round cap and amazing enough the headlight started to move and it was doing good until it decided to snap off cause it has like teeth on that turns the screw. then it went back to where it was. i finally got it back in with alot alot of trouble, stripped and all but it seems to be ok. I took it for a test run after that since it was dark and that headlight is not pointed to the middle anymore. I actually can see a little better on the road, but I think im going to have to buy brighter headlights cause the stock is not very good.......Thanks again for all your help...Rob

The teeth that were on it were for a special torks nut driver. You should have used the right tool.
