2000SE Will not start, advice wanted
Hi, I have 2000 Ponitac Bonniville
I'll tell you whats happened.....
Three weeks ago I replaced one of the three coil packs. The car was missfiring
before I replaced it. It ran fine for a week then the drivers side window and RR
windows stopped working.
One evening I drove the car, parked and when I returned to leave it would not start.
I couldnt figure it out, I thought it has to be a bad fuel pump. The engine turns over
but just didnt start. So, I replaced the pump with a 21.00 salvage pump from a 2000
Buick Rivera. I can hear the pump click on or hum so I do believe its working.
It still wont start. I've read it could be the fuel regulator. I did check some fuses, they are ok.
Funny thing is, that now the windows work, they all work from the drivers side controls
except that the RF window wont go down using that button, but it will go down using
the pass side button.
The window thing is making me think maybe its something electrical, a short in the ignition
Any advice is appreciated.

I think your two problems are unrelated. The window problem is likely the drivers door window switch. Try taking it out and cleaning it.
Are you getting spark? What is your fuel pressure?
