The best manual you can get is a FSM Factory service manual for your year/car.
I don't have a FSM for your year, but I think there'* a ground under the dash somewhere. Anyone else know where this would be?

i have the 2000 FSM in front of me and I see 2 possibilities, the ground bus on the drivers side that if you pull back the plastic trim that covers things just to the left of the hood release, took mine off and didn't see anything corroded, and the same thing on the passenger side, I could not get that trim off and it was cold lol, the whole instrument panel is grounded together I'm pretty sure so one gauge not working might be the cluster itself, for the oil PSI its a common issue to have it go on you, new sensor needed there

Trust me, a corroded ground can do funny things, and I don't mean funny ha ha. You got the right guy on the job. He'll get ya all fixed up. If need be we will get a small write up with pictures to help you out.
