Default what brake parts to choose for 00 SSEi?

I'm picking out rotors for my mom'* 00 SSEi but am unsure what I should get. basically any rotor is going to better than the stock ones, right? If so, I might just go with the Raybestos Raymold since they are only $41 each for the rotors. As long as the brakes are as good as stock, or better it'll be alright. She doesn't need anything better than stock though. Stock parts just don't last too long, that'* why I'd rather go with the Raybestos rotors.

I've been looking for the last few weeks for myself and the prices are all over the place.
Rotors and pads, I like the KVR slotted rotors and silver cadnium finnish. $1000 cdn
Power slot and pads, $600 cdn
ESM slotted and pads, $900 cdn
Brembo slotted and pads $1300 cdn (upgrade to 13" mind you)

I have a few emails out to other vendors and have not heard back yet.
