Default Exhaust U-Bend

I tried searching the tech info on this, but the search tool wouldn't allow more than one term at a time.

I am under the impression that we don't have the U-Bend in the exhaust like the GP'* do. Is this correct?

From what I understand that is correct.

I've talked to many GP guys and they all complain about it..... but I've never heard a Bonnie owner complain about a U bend.

yes, the U-bend on the W-Body is there to accomodate the rear oxygen sensor. THe Bonneville being a bigger bodied car has enough room not to require the use of the U-Bend.

Be glad you don't have one.

I got rid of mine right away.
