Dennis, the problem you seem to have isn't common at all. But we do need to get to the bottom of it. Keep a sharp eye and ear on it through your next oil change and let'* see where it goes.
guess i spook to soon, i called the place i bought the car this morning to tell him what i thought of him. and instead i started out a little nicer, he told me to stop driving the car, came over with a loaner( 2003 GP GT IM THINKING ABOUT BUYING IT TO) and said he would do what ever the car needed. i was stuned to say the least. i hope some day i can return the big favor you all did for me this weekend i was lost and didnt have a clue as to what it might be. this forum is the reasion the internet is so great.
oh yea, i forgot to say that is what i have is -10. the one time i got to drive it before this. i hit it hard getting on the free-way and it went almost to +10 and that sucker can pin you to the seat. and it has a nice growl to it. lots of fun and real comftorable.
I have the same problem with my car. The problem the difference being that it makes the noise instantly after the oil is changed and only started making the noise when i put my CAI on. I thought it was just the engine warming up. There is no coolant ion my oil and i run amsoil 20w 50 what could be wrong
