Dual Climate Functions?
I just purchased my 02 SSEI with 62,000 miles and it did not come with owners manual. I'm afraid I have a problem with the dual climate control. I can not turn just the passenger side blower off, should I be able to? When I turn off drivers side it turns both blowers off. I'm not familiar with how they are supposed to work. I've also got the warm air on drivers side which I posted in another thread, I dont think this has anything to do with the blowers, but thought I would mention.

You shouldn't be able to turn either side off completely unless as you say, the whole system is off. All the passenger climate control will do is regulate temperature up to a maximum of five degrees hotter or colder than the setting in the rest of the car, and will adjust airflow to compensate. Also in some cases, the airflow will be adjusted by light sensors on the dash that measure which side of the car is getting more sunlight.
