Pontiac upgrade wiper blades
Last fall I upgraded my wipers on my 2005 Bonneville to the newer-style framless Trico NeoForm Beam Blades that have a teflon coating. I thought I'd report my review. They wipe clean and are very quiet (probably because of the teflon). Performed well in fall and winter (in wisconsin) and so far so good in spring. They came with step-by-step removal and replacement instructions and were an easy installation. I'm posting now because I just received an email from wipers123 where I purchased mine, and there'* currently a $15 rebate through 5/15/10 and an additional $5 coupon "springreturningcustomer". I'm not ready to replace mine yet, so take it if you want it... I thought I'd pass this along!

Same here. Never do expensive wipers. Buffalo winters always kill wipers weather there $5 or $50. Im sure someone will be thankful for that information! Thanks!

I'm a fan of the Anco AeroAdvantage typically, but in the last couple years got a set of Michelin frameless at WallyWorld for like $6 each and then a buddy at Advance hooked me up with a frameless set of Bosch Icon'* for the pickup. Both work well and have been on well over a year.
Might have something to do with me using RainX which leaves no need for the wipers to be on high in a light sprinkle.

Agree to disagree yet still agree with some - LOL
That'* kind of why I posted this. With the deal above, you can get $35-$40 wipers for about $17-$20. In wisconsin, the $10-$14 pair of wipers with some of the plastic parts simply can't handle things and break too easy. I would never pay $50 but at $20 it was worth trying it - and I'm glad I did. (and I'm as cheap as they come...trust me)
Also, I don't use rainx because I'm too lazy to re-apply every couple of weeks, but I found Aquapel Glass Treatment and it really works well. They state it lasts 4-6 months per application and I got 6 months out of it for sure. I'm putting my second application on soon.

Every 2 weeks, are you nuts? I haven't reapplied to my truck in over a year and it'* still doing "decently". When I do reapply it'll be awesome.
PS. you aren't supposed to clear snow with wipers

I know rainx is loved by many - so I'm not saying it doesn't work!

I wiped it on my wifes windshield and found it to be hazy as well. On my car I add the liquid to the washer bottle. No haze, and it'* applied each time I spray the windshield.
