Default 00+ calipers

ok im working with a member on another forum basically just trying to scrounge up information.

Right now were kind of curious as to what the brake changes were to the Impala in '04. Ive been told they changed the brake setup in '04.

The part # for the caliper brackets that i put on my Intrigue only go up to '03.

BUT the calipers for the Impala are the same part # from 00-04..so it would seem in 04 that they got different brackets but i cant find part #* to verify that.

another interesting tidbit is that those same calipers for 04 are also found on the 00+ Bonneville, and to top it off they also say for the Intrigue w/ heavy duty brakes. Now this makes no sense to me as I thought the Intrigue used the same calipers regardless of whether or not it had upgraded brakes, I have upgraded brakes and im still using the stock calipers from when i had 11 inch rotors.

So basically what im asking is anything you know thats relevant to this, maybe even some pics if you have them handy let me know. Its all in the name of knowledge, which is a very good thing.
