Any idea why no one makes an aftermarket hood with a scoop for the Bonneville?

Default Any idea why no one makes an aftermarket hood with a scoop for the Bonneville?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew why no one seems to make an aftermarket hood with a scoop for the Bonneville when they are readily available for the Grand Prix and the Grand Am...?

Thanks!

Because there'* such a small market for it. I'm trying to get started on making one for me. I figure it will be around $400 after painting.

You'll find that there are not allot of aftermarket parts or body kit'* for the Bonneville. Most members make their own because of the lack of customizable parts or pieces. That'* one reason many of us love our Bonnies...it challenges us!

If someone makes one that looks as good as factory (as I have seen one "custom" made one that looked really bad) I would be more than willing to buy one from them

Its mostly because a scooped hood would look so sik on an already wicked ride that a surge of envy and jealousy would overtake all non bonneville drivers and the car market would be flooded with people looking to buy bonnevilles.

LOL, deal!

I am (crossing my fingers) buying a 2002 Black SSEi in great shape today with 60,000 miles on it for $8200 - I think it'* an OK deal...

So I will need your help "moding" it - and the scoop hood would be awesome!

Thanks as always!
