Default 2001 SLE Sway Bar Link Torque and other front end questions

After the jaw thumping pop when the sway bar link snapped, I bought the Raybestos heavy duty urethane bushings. Original rubber says 13 ft-lb torque. Anyone know what the urethane bushings should be torqued too? They started to squish what I thought, excessively. Second question - car leads slightly to left, can unequal torque on sway bar bushings affect this? I understand alignment, crowning of roads, etc., and I do typically drive in the left lane, so if aligned to go perfectly straight, I would expect it to lead to the left when in the left lane due to road crown. Thoughts anyone?
