Default NEED QUICK HELP ABOUT HEADLINER

Quick story behind my question. A rock broke my windshield. Took it to be replaced and they screwed up my headliner. I know they cut the headliner in a few spots where it is jagged. Someone that has a 2000 SSEi does the headliner at the top of the windshield fold up underneath so you do not see a cut edge. My headliner has a cut straight across and you can see and feel the foam under the headliner. I do not think it was this way stock. When it gets hot I think the glue will loosen and the cloth will separate and sag. I need to know if yours is folded up and under or just cut straight across before I make a claim.

thanks Paul,

They also put a heavy box on my truck lid and dragged it across scratching the trunk lid and spolier. If I ever figure out how to post pictures I will post some of the damage. Needless to say we are not happy and will be dealing with the insurance company. With our car being dark the scratches show up really bad across the whole width of the trunk lid. If there is a member in the Sacramento area that can teach an old dog new tricks (post pics) I would like to hear from them, otherwise I will have to wait until the WCBF '07.

p.*. this dog ain't as old as that old dog and you know who that old dog is.

Rod:
You are on the right track. I would fight for a new headliner right now. A good detail shop will be able to buff out the scratches.
