has anyone ever looked at taking apart the tail on the 2k+ bonnies to see if you could get rid of the yellow part of the back light and make them clear like the new GXPs will be.

It'* something I'd be interested in finding out...but I'd never dare try on my own, so maybe some brave soul out there can tell us both!

I looked at ours today and it looks like the yellow in the outside one on the tail is a piece that fits in, maybe you can take the thing apart and take out the yellow piece. It looks independent of the cover, unlike the 92-99 models...I am just thinking about it, my parents wont even let me drive our 2k bonnie yet and I havnt been in any accidents after getting my license in jan.

If anyone is still interested in this, I am going to attempt to do it tomorrow morning. If all goes well, I should also be posting pictures of the install(or remove!!) tomorrow as well. It looks like a seperate piece that comes right out, if anyone knows differently please let me know, otherwise wish me luck....

I will post them tonight. Has anyone tried to clear the taillights and trunk piece?

Default as promised

There are two threads here going on at the same time, here is the link to the first one that has the pictures! Enjoy. Special Thanks to Jay (Jstpsntym) for the "step by step" on how to do it. Simple mod, looks good:

You are most welcome. I was just lucky to have a spare head lamp laying around and was just drunk enough to screw with it to find out.
