Default Help with passenger side drive axle.

I just install a rebuild transmission and rebuild drive axles. On the driver side axle the shaft push in until it was flush in the transaxle. On the passenger side axle it slide in but I still see about 1/2" of the shaft showing on the transaxle side. Is that normal? I try pulling it back out and it feels like it is lock in there. If anyone has pictures that would be great.

Thanks

When I replaced my drivers side axle, there was a tiny bit showing. I'm assuming that this is pretty normal.

Plus the fact that you can pull it, and it'* not coming back out, I would say that you have it in properly.

Yeah the driver side had a tiny bit showing but the passenger had about 1/2 inch showing. That what worries me.
