Default Saw a '02 or '03 Black SSEi @ the track Wednesday

We went to the track yesterday, hoping to get a new PB in the GTP, but they weren't prepping the track so nobody was getting any traction, it was way worse than the street. So anyways, there was a guy there with a Black SSEi with drag radials, a 3.4 Pulley, and a open cone filter on it. He was running 14.7'* & 14.8'* at 99-100mph. It was pretty cool to see it run I guess, although when I was in the stands you could hear the people saying, "hey look, its a Grand Prix." I just about turned around and yelled at them, but I decided I would let them be stupid. Anyways, was this anyone on here?

Ya it was me no...maybe in the future tho, if that pulley is making that big of a difference. A grand prix..psh...don't even go there!
I saw another 00+ model (SE) on my way home from work today at a set of lights and he was checking the car and decal out. Maybe we'll have another new member soon.

Damn I wish we had a 1/4 mi track close by.
That could have been me.....I mean the mods and times correspond, not the car color.

I went over and talked to the guy for 5 or 10 minutes, that is how I know it didn't have anything done internally to the engine, or any mods I didn't notice (doubtful that that would happen though). I was on my way home before I thought about telling him about the forum or asking him if he were a member. Those kinds of things slip your mind at the track. I also noticed that the cup holders were different in this car then they are in our 2000 SSEi, they we angled, and they looked like you could actually use more than 1 of them at a time.

It is a shame that you don't have a track close by. I guess we are lucky, the track is only about 75 miles away, but to some people that is really far. It would be nice if we were closer, but thats about the right distance for the computer to learn everything, because we reset the PCM before we leave everytime.
