Default Foglight replacement

Hey Guys, I have a 2005 Booneville Sle. It has the same front end as the GXP. My left foglight had burned out and i ended up having to take the tire off and go through the front of the tire well to change the bulb. its the bulb that has the one wire. Anyways i had tried all other things to get to it but that was the easiest way i found. DO any of you know an easier to change that bulb with out having to take the tire off and the bottom splash guard cause it was hard last time and know my right one is burned and i need to replace it. Thanks for all your help

Since nobody ever replied to you I'm guessing your way IS the easiest way. I've just noticed the pass side foglight on my wife'* '05 GXP is burned out and I couldn't see how to get to it from the top or from the bottom. That would leave the side, as you pointed out. Thanks! i think..... )
