Default Lower intake gasket on 2004 impala SS

Hi Folks,

I am looking at a 2004 impala SS with supercharged 3800. Overall, it looks like a great car. However, I do have a concern on the lower intake manifold gasket for this model year.
My question is, did GM use upgraded parts on this model or not?

In addition to the prevailing LIM problem, anything else I should watch for? Thanks for reading my post.

Default

the LIM is still the plastic found on all the 3.8'*. The L67 is Far better than the L36 that you are familar with
