Default Looking for an Aftermarket CAI to Fit 2002 SSEi

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this board and was wondering if there is a Cold Air Intake System that would fit on my 2002 SSei? I am seeing a lot of Units for the GTP'* but haven't seen
any for our beloved Bonneville Will the ones for the GTP also fit the SSei?

Besides a Cold Air Intake what other mods do you guys recommend? I am trying to add a little more pep to my ride without hurting overall drivability.

Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Very cool!!!

Thanks Man!

Got to get me a Thrasher, a 180 degree Thermostat (any benefit to that?) and maybe a 3.40 SC Pulley.

Thanks again!

A cheaper and colder air route for the 2k+ crowd is the FWI (fender well intake). Here'* an example:
Rogue'* 8-ball

Once I get the time to do it, this will be how my CAI is setup. Not much to it, just some nice flexible piping from Intense Racing - Custom Air Ducting. I believe that Rogue used ~3 ft of the 3.5" and a 6 in. section of the 4" because he couldn't get the 3.5" to go over the throttle body. Or you could just hook it up to the regular flex coupling that is already on the throttle body.

Defintily get the 3.4 blower pulley, best bang for the buck. I'm happy with my thrasher, did take a little work to cut to fit but not hard at all. I just bought another thrasher box actually, from a grand prix memeber used for 50 bucks with no filter. look around.

I did you some Intense tubing to run to the box, I had to finesse the 3.5 tubing on to the stock throttle body, it does fit.

Yep, I highly recommend the FWI. Our cars (2k+) are built for it. The fenderwell is totally enclosed and the hole in the sidewall is perfect fit. I ran the SLP CAI for a bit and the FWI reduced my KR by almost 3 degrees. FWI on 4 of the 5 fastest SSEi'* so it can't be wrong
