jdq did you measure to the edge of the seat I think that is what he meant but maybe I got it wrong wouldn't be the first time!

I measured from stitch to stitch like in the schematic , not outside edges.

you have the Aurora seats.. The seams aren't on top of the seat like they are on the 00-02 BOnneville seats. They're further out to the sides.

does the leather have to kind of stretch to fit over the pad? or is that leather just too small period?

in that shown pic, the new leather is on the seat cover, see how poorly it fits... the seam should be right at the edge...

the original seats are 100% leather
the new seats are all vinyl except for the inlays which are real leather :?

I think you might just need to really stretch it hard around that pad so it fits correctly. I could be totally wrong though. It just looks loose to me, like it'* not tucked down around around totally.

thats because it wont tuck.. its long long enough

the main problem right now is that the insert pieces dont align properly, about 1" off... which means they cant be velcro'd down, and it all looks sloppy

i brought it to a professional upholstry lady today.. thats what she told me
