Poor radio reception...
My '03 SLE has terrible radio reception. The owners manual says the radio station must be within 40 miles for good signal - which is the way it works. Is there any way to pull in farther stations? I live in the rurals and the nearest station is 70+ miles away and the station I'd prefer to listen to is 125+ miles away. My '99 GP got them in fine and my cheap JVC does good too, but not the Bonneville. Is there a good antenna booster I could get? Or any other options? I'd prefer to stick with the factory radio, just improve the reception...

How about SIRIUS Satellite Radio? You could go from California to Maine without ever changing the station. Now THAT'* reception! Plus it tells you the Artist and Song Name on the display. Fantastic. I love it.

(Sorry about all the questions...I would do anything for a good satellite radio system that looks good in my car...*wiping up drool puddle on desk* )

Most of te newer GM models are getting the XM radio. Or if you have an aftermarket Pioneer radio, you have an XM ready unit. Just buy the satilite and order the stations for $10 a month.

I realize that the new Bonnies already have XM, but I have not seen the set up, nor do I know if it would work for my 2000. I would want it to look stock (or close).

Personally I prefer SIRIUS. Yes, it is $2.95 more per month, but the music channels are commercial free (XM'* DO have commercials). Plus, the channel line-up is better on SIRIUS, in my opinion.
The company I work for installs them in the boats we manufacture, so I was able to get one through the company.
I did not have to lose my CD player. It'* a separate unit that'* just above the CD player. It'* not a seamless or attractive installation, by any means, but it'* there and it works. I do have pictures, so let me round those up and post them here for you to look at.
