Backend bouncing
I just put those gxp 18'* on and today i was traveling down the road around 10 - 20 mph and my back end was bouncing up and down. Could bad shocks to this?

i would guess that while the shocks were fully extended while the car was in the air for the 18s swap, that one of the seals broke and caused the shock to blow out...
its happened before

Probably either the struts, or the leveling control. Is the back end higher than normal. That will cause a really stiff ride that could lead to bouncing.

hmm, mine will do this when it has stuff in the back, but thats about it, and thats only because I have crappy weak struts...so yeah, I would agree with the strut theory, and probably that the low profile tires are putting more of a shock to the shocks and causing the car to bounce.

Yeah WJ, the 00'* have air shocks in the back, your'* has struts all the way around.
I'm thinking those 18'* must be using 50 series tires on there that must ride terrible.
