Default Cold Passenger Side Air?

Hey all,
In my 02 SSEI when the climate control is set at 90, the drivers side blows warm air and functions as it should. It seems though that there isn't much coming out from the drivers side however, I can only feel it blowing from directly behind the radio area. The passenger side blows alot of air at full force, but it doesnt get warm. It only blows cold. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? I am fairly inclined mechanically, but Im not incredibly savvy when it comes to the electronic stuff as far as diagnosis. Any thoughts?

Remove the lower part of the dash on the passenger side, then while observing the air mix actuator shown in the following diagram, see how far it moves, if at all.

It doesn't, is there a way to temporarily set it downward? Just inquiring. These cars are nothing what I am used to. Prior to this it was a 96 Formula and the heat in that thing was insanity!

You should be able to manually move the control arm and hold it in place with wire or string. I believe there are some write ups on checking the HVAC system in tech info.

Check the connectors first. If everything is good there, remove the actuator and see if you can move the door manually. If you can find a way to keep the door where you want, take the regulator apart, and move the gear to the position you need, and install it in that position.

I just went ahead and replaced it. A buddy got it for me for 140ish USD. Works like a charm now.
