yeah its going in thursday, ill tell ya im a little upset with this car already, first this tranny problem, now i have a water leak, i hope nothing else comes up, the tranny issue scares me more than anything because the car is under warrenty and dealerships try to get by with what the can because they dont make the money if it was out of warrenty, they tried changing the tranny fliud and that didnt work, wonder whats next
the service adviser said that hard shift before i stop is normal, so anyone that has an 03 ssei do you have the same hard shift that i do before you come to a complete stop, let me know
I swear that'* the first thing they teach all new service advisers. "That'* normal and they all do it". A hard shift in the situation you described isn't normal.
what can i do if they say it is normal, im kinda stuck having no recourse, or do i? he also said he drivin 2 bonnie'* at the shop same generation as mine and they all had that hard downshift to first, thats why im here to find if its true or not, not to mention im kinda upset with the car only having 20k on it and what i spent on the car makes me crazy, sorry just have to vent :(

FYI, not sure if it is related but I recal my car doing almost the samething a week back, not at a complete stop but when applying the brakes some on the interstate and on side roads. Almost felt like you hit the brakes it would start to slow down they speed up a little then finish stopping or slowing.

Oddly, my '87 does this sometimes also, as well as my mom'* '97 chrysler T&C. But neither of them sound as severe as yours, just a barely noticable bump. And my mom'* went almost completely away after a drain and fill.
