Brake Pad Replacement
About a month ago I repalced the front rotors and pads. I'm not quite happy
with the stopping power under heavy braking and I'm thinking of replacing them
with a more aggressive pad. After about 2000 miles of use, would it be necessary
to refinish the brake rotors for new pads? Or can I just replace them and bed them
in correctly?
The pads in question are Raybestos QuiteStop Ceramics. I would like to replace
them with a more agressive Composite pad. Maybe, a Satisfied Brakes GranSport pad.
Thanks for any help.

If there is no pulsation when applying the brakes and the rotors are not grooved at all, you just need to put a non-directional finish on the rotors when installing the new pads.

^^^^ = which means......just get them scuffed up to wear in the new pads faster.
