Default HUD

Will this work on the 2000+ models?

Worth it?

No that dash is for a 96', as well you would need to change out the windshield to a hud designed one.
Good price though.

Well this would take a lot to figure out but the hardest part would be the serial communications with the pcm, not sure if you would need a new pcm?

You don't need a HUD windshield. I replaced mine with a regular windshield and it works fine.

You sure about that Blocker?

I know it at least needs a coating or a film on the windshield.

Are you speaking of

1) your current SSEi HUD that you replaced

2) a previous car

3) your ssei never had an HUD and you installed one

If its your currnt car, I thought that all SSEi'* had HUD

I guess its just me :?:

I do not have a HUD, I do not have a HUD windshield. I figure that if I get this I will have to do some cutting to get it properly installed, my primary concern is how to connect it to the electronics. Is it as simple as the seller is making it out? Just "splice" into wires? Or will I need a new PCM as someone else stated (in which case its probably not worth it).
