SES light question

Default SES light question

Today I had to get on the trottle hard merging onto a highway and hit around 5500 rpms, then the ses light started blinking and now its been on since then.... any thoughts?

Blinking SES means a hard misfire. SES on steady now means your car experienced misfires and stored the code. You will probably want to check your plugs, wires, maybe the coils and possibly the ICM.

If you have a SES light get it scanned, Autozone does this for free and it will tell you exactly what'* wrong. Your symptom sounds like a definate misfire.
