bad oil sensor/sender ?
i'm usually reading around 45 psi and this morning she is pegged at 120 psi
I dont see any oil spill in the engine bay. would this be a bad sensor?

well I just re-read the 2000-2005 COMMON PROBLEMS .......and solutions thread and it appears to be it.
and for the record my mileage is at 66,600 +

Yeah, mine did that, then after a week or so it failed completely and started bouncing around constantly telling me to check oil pressure. New sender, works perfectly.

anybody have a suggestion as to where to find a new on for less that $70US? That'* the cheapest I've found locally except for autozone garbage.
