03 bonneville ssei LIM and UIM parts question
Planning on replacing both gaskets. Can someone tell me exactly what parts I will need to do the job, or a reasonably price kit. Not planning on keeping this car for more that five years so i don't need the most expensive gaskets money can buy. Seems like every thread I've read says something different depending on the year of the car and whether it has a supercharger. This is what I gather I need so far please correct me if I'm leaving anything out.
LIM gasket
UIM gasket
?plentum gasket:
Thermostat: Does it come with gasket or have an o-ring on it
Injector O-rings
EGR gasket
coolant elbow: how many
?Stovepipe: In a few thread I keep seeing this brought up. What is a Stovepipe?

You most likely wont need injector O rings, inspect them and lube them good. EGR don't have a gasket. You will need a throttle body gasket. You will need a tube of black RTV this is used where the LIM gaskets meet the cam valley. As I've never done a UIM I can't say what will be needed for that area. The stove pipe is where the EGR comes up threw the UIM. This gets hot and ends up cracking the UIM. So you will want to inspect that area. Pull the throttle body, and if you see any coolant around the EGR hole, the UIM will need to be replaced.

Ahh, title says SSEi. So no plenum, or stove pipe. (if supercharged) You will need a supercharger gasket and the rubber coolant O rings, throttle body gasket, LIM gaskets, that'* it.
