The stuff is supposed to stick to your motor like a magnet after most of the oil drains to the pan during shut down. Most of the time I use plain ol' GTX 10W30. Just wondering if it'* worth the extra $$$.

If your that worried about cold start up Just go to a 5w-30 for winter. Additives are usually a gimik, your oil should allready do that. IMO I would leave it alone unless you get alot of noise off the valvetrain at cold start. (if you dont get alot of noise, your oil is doing its job)

My 3800 is quiet upon startup and the valvetrain is fine. But you know how the oil companies are always trying to make us worry about our motors.
