Default Add my '01 SSEi to the intake gasket failure list

I brought my car into my brother in-laws garage today for routine maintenance and new plugs, he dropped it off around lunch and gives me the bad news that the intake gasket is leaking and needs to be replaced. I guess he sees a lot of these failures on the 3.8'* as he said this will be the third one this month that he has to replace.

The failures he sees I think would be on the L36'*, not the L67'*. What gasket specifically failed, the supercharger gasket or the lower intake manifold gasket?

Default my gaskets :(

just my 2 cents on this thread. My engine was smelling a little funny.. ended up having the upper & lower gaskets replaced at 102k
