AC Sucks
My AC doesn't work and hasn't worked for some years now. What is the best way to fix it? Can a garage do it or should i do it myself?

Break out you wallet and bring to an AC shop
Being down for a long time, it will defineatly need to be evacuated to get out moisture and pressure tested
Can you hear the compressor click when turned on?

I agree. Im all for "do it urselfers" but an a/c thats been down for a while needs quite a bit of tlc. Best to let the pros handle it. and if they mess it up you have someone to blame other than urself.LOL j/k
