Approximately how much transmission oil am I looking at. It appears to be about 5 qts? Also does anyone have a part number on that oil filter. I have done some searching online and can't seem to find a part number.

Also how will I know if my gasket is "reusable" or not. Should I just order a gasket to make sure I get it done in one afternoon.

Any websites would be cool. Most forums have sponsors, but I don't see any here. Perhaps some vendors should get on here and donate so we have a place to point everyone.

You will need about 6 quarts, perhaps a little less.

I have yet to find a car without a reusable gasket. They are a stiff rubber with raised ridges.

Places like autozone will have the filter, just tell them your year and type and they will hand you a box.

I swore on all of my future tranny services I would loosen the accumulator body to let more fluid out. The amount that came out was surprising...like a qt or 2. It only takes an extra 30 seconds or so.

If you have some spare time, you don't even need to do that much. I have let a trans drain for close to a week before when waiting on parts and added as much as 10 quarts of fluid. Overnight should get you close to 8-9 quarts.
