Default 2004 bonneville AC/Heater problems

So recently my A/C/Heater doesn't seem to be functioning. The control buttons are all lit up and when pushed light up but it doesn't blow any air.. like the compressor is out or something. Also the temperature control potentiometer/switch is NOT lit up (blue-to-red light) and does not appear to be working/adjusting the temp, but I can't really tell since nothing'* blowing. Any suggestions on what I should look for without taking this to the shop and not knowing much about A/C units myself.

If the fan Blower motor doesn't work then i would first start with testing the Blower motor of course it does depend on if you have automatic or manual controls. Thre should be B+ voltage at the purple wire into the blower motor, also check your fuse.

Yea checked the fuses, there is a relay in the fuse box under the hood that looks like it might be blown. I will check the blower motor next I suppose. What do you mean by auto/manual controls? I got push buttons that have little lights when you push them, so I'm assuming they're automatic.

Automatic Controls you set the temperature with a ****. Manual Controls u turn a **** from cold to hot with out a readout on the temp. One system has a processor unit that the controls communicate with to control blower speed among other things.

Had what sounds like the exact thing happen one time, oddly enough right after pulling it out of the shop for a totally unrelated issue. Brought it back to the shop and the guy took a look, gave it a good whack at the blower box and haven't had a problem since. The blower fan was just stuck.
