Default Looking for Parts Source

Anyone know of a good source of used parts for newer Bonnies? I have a 2000 SSEi that likes to eat power window motor/ regulator assemblies at $275 each from the dealer. I've had no luck finding used parts in my local yards here in Virginia.

Thanks/

Try www.gmpartsdirect.com . They have brand new stuff for around 50-60% off from dealer preices.

I just need the regulator, but it comes as a unit with a motor. Windows motors are available aftermarket, but i haven't found anybody that makes a regulator.

You have that problem also. My driver side motor just went out. I have already had to replace the passenger side. What is the deal? Are we the only ones to have this problem or is a regular prob with the 2000'*?

I'm going to guess a regular problem. I had my rear passanger window motor replaced before purchasing the vehicle and my wife'* front passanger just went out. Have to get it in for warranty work.

Default Window regulator

In my case, what happens is that the plastic pulley that carries the regulator wire breaks. I think its a really bad design, especially since I have now replaced two of them in just 50K miles on my 2000 SSEi. My previous 4 Bonnies never once had window regulator problems.

BTW, thanks for the tip re www.gmpartsdirect.com. The best local price I could find for the window regulator unit was $260. I got the same GM part off the web site for $186 including shipping.
