Block Drain Location L36?
I ran a search and couldn't find anything definitive. I know where the radiator drain is at, I just need to locate the block drain so I can do a good job changing out the DexCool. This would be a year 2000 Series II. Thanks Guys.

Mark,
Thanks for checking in. I was just under the general assumption that all engine blocks have a block drain for draining out the water jackets. Maybe I'm just too old school.

Okay sorry to be stupid I don't do much monkey wrenching b/c I am too busy and lacking in knowledge! (lol perfect example) But uhh once the warrentys up and the way my son is into car we might have to start and I might have to get a service manual and read!

I can only speak from the perspective of a L67 but when you look underneath, you can see the knock sensors because they have wires connected to them. If the L36 also has knock sensors, it won't be hard at all to see them if you are under the engine looking up.
When I changed my coolant, I not only drained the radiator but also removed the knock sensors as they were the lowest part of the system.
