2002 SLE or SSEi - which one is right for me?
Hi,
Ok, I am going to finally do it!
I have narrowed the car down to a 2002 SLE or SSEi.
I am not interested in the car because of the supercharger - I could care less actually, I just like the added options on the SSEi - other than the supercharger.
My question is: Does the SLE drive "smoother"? I mean it seems when I test drove an SSEi, that it sort of drove, and rode, a little "rough"...
Thanks!

My Sheboygan friend!
I do not know what the handling was on.... :(
I guess my question has more to do with the motor than the suspension...
Does the supercharged motor seem to run "rougher" than the SLE motor? And if so, can that be adjusted through performance chips, etc...?
You realize that I am SOOOO going to take you up on your offer and bring any Bonneville to you to look over before I buy it....lol

In general they will both run about the same. It'* when you put it down that the difference will be felt. The SSEi opens up a lot more possibilitys. I'm very happy with mine.

Yeah, now I just need to find a 2002 SSEi, black with dark interior...

the 00+ dont have that option.
the Suspension is the reason that it rode "rough". The SSEi has the FE2 suspension where as the SLE has the FE1.
I would choose the SSEi for the Stabilitrak, Memory options (seating and mirrors) Also the SSEi will have the 12 Way Driver and passenger seats, and prolly the best feature is that the SSEi has HUD
